Following the recent success of the Lionesses, the ARDL Sports Law Practice Group is excited to host this year’s ARDL Summer Social. We are delighted to welcome a former professional footballer, leading female football commentator and qualified solicitor with over 100 caps for England, Eni Aluko.
This is the Sports Law Practise Group’s inaugural London event, and we are really looking forward to hearing how Eni made the transition from footballer to solicitor to commentator and social advocate. The ARDL Summer Social is, however, open to all members, and this promises to be a great networking event for those working across the regulatory as well as sports law landscape.
Please join us on 11 September 2025, for drinks and canapes, at our rooftop venue, for a “fire side” chat with Eni, as she discusses topical issues across sport and law. Eni brings a vast amount of experience having played for club sides Chelsea and Juventus, and having represented England at the 2007 FIFA World Cup in China, 2011 FIFA World Cup in Germany, and 2015 FIFA World Cup in Canada. Eni can also provide her insight as a player and commentator on Lioness success at the UEFA Women’s European Championship after participating in 2009 and 2013, and supporting the successive England wins at this tournament.
