ARDL holds an AGM each year at the end of April when committee members are elected. Advance notice is given to all members of this meeting and only those members who attend in person are able to vote.

Candidates need five ARDL members to support their nomination, at least two of who should work in an organisation outside of the organisation that the candidate works in.

Five committee members are elected each year and serve a two year term. Up to five committee members can be co-opted at any one time.
