The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) wishes to add to the number of experienced lawyers in their existing Legal Advisers’ Pool, undertaking the role of independent Legal Adviser to the various judicial committees which sit to consider allegations of Misconduct. The role holder is appointed on an independent contractual basis.  Appointments to the Legal Advisers’ pool are reviewed periodically by the Regulatory Appointments Committee.  Initial appointment will be reviewed after an initial 5 year period, subject to usual contractual performance monitoring.
